I’ve made some significant updates to Acupuncture Marketing School to keep up with the changing marketing landscape, and I’m so excited to share what’s new with you.
In this short bonus episode, I’m sharing some new perspectives on marketing in the age of AI that I hope will really help shift the way you approach marketing.
And good news, this not all about catering to AI. It’s about how your marketing can be built for humans but also be useful for Google and AI tools at the same time.
I’m also sharing what’s changed in AMS and how it will help you build a more intentional, effective marketing strategy for your acupuncture practice.
In this episode I talk about:
- Why your website, Google Business Profile, SEO, content, and online reputation need to work together as a cohesive marketing ecosystem
- How Google and AI are changing the way potential patients discover acupuncture practices
- The new Clarity → Visibility → Momentum framework inside AMS
- New lessons designed to help you identify what to prioritize and create a realistic marketing plan
My goal with the new AMS is to help you spend less time wondering what marketing strategies you should be using and more time confidently putting strategies into action.

Episode T138: Why I Completely Redesigned Acupuncture Marketing School (And What's New!)
Transcript:
Hello and welcome back!
I’m popping into your podcast feed today with a short, temporary bonus episode because I have something exciting to share.
I’ve spent the past several months redesigning Acupuncture Marketing School, my online marketing course for acupuncturists and other wellness professionals.
To celebrate the relaunch, enrollment is currently $200 off through Friday, October 23.
But I wanted to take a few minutes to tell you what’s new, why I decided to make such significant changes to the course, and who I think would benefit most from joining.
And whether or not you join AMS, I wanted to share some new perspectives on marketing in the age of AI that I hope will help you moving forward.
Why I redesigned AMS
If you’ve been listening to this podcast for a while, you know that I spend a lot of time thinking about how we can make marketing both more effective and manageable for real life.
One of the biggest things I’ve been thinking about this year is how much the way people find healthcare providers has changed.
We’re still talking about websites, Google Business Profiles, SEO, reviews, and content creation.
Those things haven’t gone away. They’re still incredibly important.
But now we also have to think about how AI tools like ChatGPT or Gemini are finding information about our practices and using it to make recommendations.
And here’s what I really want everyone to understand:
Marketing for AI and marketing for humans aren’t necessarily separate marketing strategies. Much like acupuncture’s holistic view of things, everything is connected.
Your website communicates what you specialize in, helps your ideal patients identify themselves, and builds trust. Your Google Business Profile reinforces that information. Your content on different platforms answers questions potential patients are asking. And reviews, media exposure, and mentions on other websites can help establish your credibility.
Together, these things create a marketing ecosystem that helps potential patients, Google, and AI understand who you help, what you offer, and why someone might choose your practice.
This is such an important shift in how we approach marketing.
Because it’s not necessarily about doing MORE marketing.
It’s about being more intentional with the marketing you’re already doing and with the message you’re communicating.
So What’s new inside AMS?
As I redesigned the course, I organized everything around three ideas: Clarity, Visibility, and Momentum.
First, we focus on clarity.
Who are your ideal patients? What do you want your practice to be known for? And are you communicating your value in a way that resonates with the people you want to attract?
Then we move into visibility.
This is where we get into the practical strategies that help people discover your practice.
We’re talking about your website, SEO, Google Business Profile, content creation, email marketing, and building authority through things like backlinks and low-pressure media exposure.
I’ve completely redesigned the content creation chapter, and we’ll talk about what kinds of content are actually worth your time right now.
For example, how to create helpful condition pages on your website, how to optimize your homepage and Google business profile, the top three things I recommend doing on your google profile every week that have a big impact on your visibility, and how to identify the questions your ideal patients are asking.
We’ll also talk about how these strategies work together. I really believe it’s our responsibility as business owners to teach Google and AI what your business is about and which patients to send you. In a nutshell, we have to provide enough detailed content that when someone asks ChatGPT or Google a question, they realize that OUR business is the answer to the question. If you’re not providing that info online, how are Google and AI supposed to know? And it’s not as hard as you’re thinking. That is a big focus of the redesigned chapters in AMS.
And finally, we focus on momentum.
Because you can understand every marketing strategy in the world, but if you don’t have a realistic plan for implementing them, that knowledge isn’t going to do much for your practice.
I want you to be able to look at your marketing, identify what’s missing, decide what deserves your attention, and move forward with confidence. And I want you to take into consideration things like your personality type, energy, and available free time – all these things contribute to whether a marketing plan is sustainable for you. It doesn’t matter if it works for someone else if it doesn’t work for YOUR LIFE.
I’ve also created new workbooks and planning resources to help you apply what you’re learning in the course.
Who is AMS for?
I designed Acupuncture Marketing School for acupuncturists and other wellness professionals who want to take a more intentional approach to growing their practices. So yes, even though it’s called AMS it’s still excellent for chiropractors, naturopaths, PTs, and any independent wellness business owners. These concepts are incredibly important across professions, not just for acus.
The course is great if you’re relatively new to practice and want to build a strong marketing foundation.
Or if you’ve been in business for years, but your marketing feels scattered. You’re posting on social media, updating your website here and there, and trying different things without a clear sense of how they fit together.
Or maybe you’re concerned about how AI is changing the way patients find providers, and you want to make sure your practice is keeping up.
Wherever you’re starting, my goal is to help you understand which strategies matter most for your practice and how to put them into action.
And I want you to be able to do that in a way that works for your personality, your schedule, and the time and energy you actually have available.
